- Call foray leader no later than the evening prior to the foray to let him or her know that you will be attending.

All forays will begin at 10:00 a.m. unless otherwise posted. Please be on time.
- Bring a basket or large paper bag for collecting, whistle, compass, hand lens, and field guide.
- Dress for the weather. Wear long pants, sturdy walking/hiking shoes and insect repellant.
- Foray participants are expected to share their information, knowledge, and experience with other participants.
